Well I finally found the vouchers that were bought for a Christmas present for a 2 hour spa session are out of date.
Now when the Spa were asked if they could accept these the answer was no, when they asked if they would accept the difference between the cost of the voucher and the current cost of a voucher they said no.
Bear in mind that these are not money off vouchers but vouchers that were paid for in cash so in effect the Spa have had money and interest on money for absolutely nothing in return!
This is apparently becoming common amongst retailers and there is a problem with this as I see it. If they take your money and then say that vouchers are no good then they have stolen your money.
This is wrong. And as such I am going to start a campaign to stop this happening. If you pay cash for something then you have paid for something. If the price goes up say after a year then I can understand that you have paid at a discount but you should be allowed to pay extra to even things out not lose everything. This is almost gambling. It is not reasonable to put valid till dates without the possibility of extension.
THIS MUST STOP NOW JOIN MY CAMPAIGN. twitter and facebook your friends and contacts. LETS STOP THIS NOW
